Cardiff
Welcome to the web pages for Cardiff.
I have been the Disability Sport Wales Officer for Sport.Cardiff for 10 years and have been involved in disability sport for as long as I can remember.
As a wheelchair user myself, I have a strong background in disability sport as a participant, coach, manager and committee member. I regularly take part in badminton, and coach wheelchair basketball and sledge ice hockey.
I have used many of my personal experiences in disability sport to help me in providing high quality, local sporting opportunities for adults and children with learning, sensory and physical disabilities.
There are a wide range of sports and activities on offer throughout the daytime and evenings so most people can find a recreational activity to suit them. Whether you are looking for a healthy lifestyle, to socialise and make new friends, keep fit, or strive to be a future participant in the Paralympics, Deaflympics or Special Olympics there should be something out there for you.
If you would like further information on disability sport in Cardiff then just give me a call or send me an email. You can also ask to be added to my mailing list to ensure you are one of the first to hear of all the latest local sporting developments.
If you are interested in being a participant, coach, volunteer or sponsor, I am looking forward to hearing from you (contact details bottom left of this page).
